Our children's ministry has as its goal to assist parents in training up their children to love, know, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by teaching them God's Word and by being examples of the Word to them in all that we do.
Scripture is clear that the responsibility of teaching our children about God is to be upon the parents, and that we are to be constantly training our children from God's Word. Our Sunday School classes are designed to supplement and further encourage what parents are eaching their children at home, NOT to be the only form of teaching from God's Word that children receive.
Operation Christmas Child!
Each Wednesday in November we will be meeting to put together shoe boxes for our annual effort on behalf of Operation Child. This is a yearly event where we seek to put together boxes of needed items and gifts for needy children around the world. This is done through Samaritan's Purse as they take these boxes all over the world. Be sure to look for the display at Sunday's services so you can pick up a flyer on what to bring. Then come on Wednesdays and help pack the boxes and wrap them for these precious children who will be so blessed by these Christmas gift boxes.
Children's Church & Wednesdays
Our puppet ministry meets each Wednesday to learn songs and skits that we use in Children's Church, Vacation Bible School, and other ministry opportunities. This is a great group and are taught puppetry by Donna Newcom who is highly trained in this area. Donna also works with a small group of kids who are learning how to do Clown Ministry as well.
